To Storage Facilities,
Just wanted to drop you a thank you note. You did a great job during my recent move. I was able to find a mini storage facility fast and easy.
Everything went great, from the first form that I submitted to the actual move. I received many interesting Self Storage Quotes and I was able to sort them out and to choose the best one for my needs. I am also spreading the word around about your website!

To StorageFacilities team
I am writing to commend the service of your website. I really appreciated your service and I did not even know that it exists. Only at the last minute, I learned that my new home is not ready because the builder did not receive a certificate of occupancy. I panicked. I have no place to store my furniture. I needed to find a self storage facility near my new home. I filled out the form on your site and in a very short time I was able to rent a storage unit 3000 miles away. You made my life so much easier and I thank you for that.

Storage Facility and cost factor
When searching for any self-storage facility or moving storage facility, you should be clear in mind that the goods that you store do not just have monetary value, but may have some amount of sentimental worth as well. Never get fooled by self-storage units who charge you lower price for availing their services. Normally a public storage unit may charge you very less price but the security standards and the storage environment involved may not be up to the mark.
Before entering into the agreement with the self-storage operator, check for the condition of the storage building, the security standards present, and the environment inside the storage facility. The costs included in the storage contract comprise of basic charges for the actual space and the cost for utilities like light and electricity. Also included in the total cost is the cost of insurance and fees for climate controlled storage, in case you have opted for one. It’s always a good practice to read the agreement before you sign it. This is because usually there are some hidden costs, which do not reflect in the agreement. These costs are often reflected in the final payment that you make.
Although this is not a norm, there are some self storage units which may charge you on each access made by you. A storage facility needs labor to shift material in and out of the storage facility. Always check whether this labor is provided “free of charge”. Usually they do, but some warehouses may not provide it free of cost.
A fully reimbursable deposit is accepted when you sign the agreement. Different self storage facilities charge you different deposit amounts depending of the services availed by you. If you have availed of the temperature control services, then you have to pay a little higher deposit.
The deposit charged by the warehouse owner is 100% refundable at the time when you take your goods out of the storage facility. One should check the terms and conditions that are laid down by the self-storage facilities; it might be possible that the terms and conditions are so suspiciously rigid, that you may not be able to meet them. It is better to walk away from such a deal because if they cannot be direct about the deposit, then you may have problems getting your deposit back.
Never ever default on your payments to the self- storage house. If you do so then you have to pay a heavy price, depending on the policies of the self-storage unit. In some cases you may have to pay penalty, while in some cases on failure to make payment, your goods that are stored in the self-storage, may be auctioned. You can bring a stay on the auction provided that you file the stay order to the district court, ten days prior to the day the auction takes place.
